Schedule: Rotating  l  PRN | 2 shifts/month min commitment

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Capture high quality cardiac images and hemodynamic data to provide physicians with the critical insights needed for life-saving diagnoses.
  • Navigate complex diagnostic studies by expertly maneuvering advanced imaging technology, ensuring every scan meets the highest clinical standards for accuracy.
  • Advocate for patient safety and comfort by precisely positioning patients and maintaining rigorous quality control protocols throughout the imaging process.
  • Translate technical findings into clinical value by identifying pathology and ensuring all data sent to PACS is comprehensive, accurate, and ready for immediate review.
  • Maintain an efficient and high-standard care environment by managing advanced imaging equipment and procedural spaces, ensuring the department is always safe and optimized for the next patient.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Educational Foundation: Must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Professional Credentialing: Hold an active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) credential, or successfully obtain the credential within 12 months of start date or transfer date.
