Job description

Job Title: Cable Technician 

Location: Muskogee, OK 
Pay rate:$23-30/HR - DOE 

Company Summary: Our client is a proven leader in the communications industry, offering a professional level of cabling expertise to their partners. Having been around for over twenty years, our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.
Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced and entry-level structured cabling technicians to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from ladders and lifts. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
  • Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation 
  • Installation of cable support structures – fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
  • Manual labor – moving boxes and materials around the job site
  • Must be able to follow directions and learn
  • Must have prior commercial new construction experience
  • Must be able to work with a large team

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (Boom and/or scissor lift)
  • Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
  • Must be able to follow directions and learn
