Job description

MTSI is currently seeking to hire a Data / BI Analyst to join the team!
Responsibilities:
As a Data/BI Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various departments to create impactful visual representations of data that enhance understanding and drive actionable insights. You will utilize Power BI, as well as programming languages such as R and Python, to transform raw data into compelling visual stories.
The chosen candidate will gain hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand key metrics that need visualization. The analyst will:
  • Assist in the creation of dashboards that monitor performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in gathering feedback from users and iterate on visualizations to enhance usability and impact
  • Assist with documenting visualization methodologies and creating a library of visual assets
  • Work directly with experienced professionals and gain insights into the strategic role of data in decision-making
  • Hone their technical skills in data visualization and programming while working on real-world projects and have a direct impact on how teams understand and utilize data, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data visualization and analytics while contributing to projects that drive organizational success.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Currently pursuing or possesses a degree in Data Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
