This Salesforce Data Associate is a temporary position that will help execute an organization-wide data hygiene project. This includes actioning a series of items from existing, well-defined reports and reviewing and updating records accordingly.

This position will play a critical role in updating and maintaining the integrity of our current data, while positioning the organization for greater success in ongoing data hygiene and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematically follow the action items in the โ€œPhilanthropy Playbookโ€ to complete the necessary updates in each one
  • Update Accounts and Opportunities, including contact, soft credits, pledges, duplicate records, and other items as outlined in a Playbook section
  • Update Payments, including GL codes, fund codes, payment dates, regions, source batches, and stages
  • Update Bequest records, including organization types, coding, and other items
  • Action updates and changes directly in Salesforce, following multiple steps with great attention to detail
  • Action updates and changes through exported Salesforce reports which are then imported into Data Loader for global updates
  • Work closely with members of the Data Services team, Finance, and IT

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of direct experience with gift entry, batching, coding, reporting, and data management in Salesforce
  • Experience working with other departments to ensure proper coding and reconciliation of data
  • Experience maintaining data quality and data integrity with an understanding of how changes in one system or process may impact others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related data tools
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential donor and organizational information
  • Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely

Schedule:

Compensation:

  • California/New York: $18-$20 per hour
  • Texas/Florida: $17.50-19.50 per hour
  • Ohio: $17-$19 per hour
