Job description


Essential Duties:
  • Operate the required facilities and acquire data.
  • Assist the research associates and faculty in enhancing the computer programs to process the data.
  • Organize technical meetings as required by the project.
  • Write technical reports based on the analysis of the results.
  • Make technical presentations for the sponsors.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with work in research facilities, especially TU's North Campus
  • Competence in computer programming and/or coding

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in petroleum engineering or closely related field
  • Experience in a computer language such as Python and MATLAB
  • Knowledge of fluid flow in pipes
  • Must have a valid OPT card or eligible to work in the US.

Physical Demands
Typing/Keyboarding: Proficiency in typing and using a computer keyboard for extended periods.
Speaking: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Reaching: Ability to reach for items on shelves or in cabinets.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to operate control panels, open and close valves.
Ability to work outdoors; requires standing, squatting, reaching, and occasionally lifting more than 25 pounds.
