Overview

Tyndale is scaling its AI and Data Science capabilities to improve safety, customer experience, and operational efficiency across our Flame-Resistant clothing business. We are hiring a Project Manager, AI & Data Science, who will act as both Scrum Master for the Data Science team and Project Manager for SaaS AI products such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Veo 3, Slack AI, Scribe, and similar tools.

You will manage end to end delivery for Data Science projects on AWS and for enterprise SaaS AI rollouts, driving both technical execution and business adoption. On the platform side, you will work across AWS services to support building Machine Learning and Generative AI products. On the SaaS side, you will lead pilots and rollouts, change management, training, and measurement of adoption and business value.

HYBRID/REMOTE:ย Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 1 day per week, and 4 days per week remotely.ย To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or our location in Houston, TX (City Centre).

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Scrum Master for Data Science teams: facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retros; coach team members on Agile practices and remove impediments.
  • Manage a backlog for Data Science and AI platform work in Jira.
  • Coordinate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers building Machine Learning models and Generative AI products.
  • Act as Project Manager for SaaS AI tools (for example ChatGPT, Slack AI, Scribe): manage pilots, enterprise rollout plans, communications, training, and change management to drive adoption and safe use.
  • Own project scope, schedule, and budget tracking for assigned initiatives, including dependency management, change control, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain an active risk and issue log; drive mitigations and escalations that protect delivery commitments and compliance requirements.
  • Define and track success metrics such as sprint velocity, on time delivery, escaped defects, model reproducibility, data quality SLAs, SaaS AI adoption rates, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support vendor management activities for SaaS AI and AWS partners, including SOWs, renewals, and contract performance.
  • Ensure high quality documentation for requirements, test plans, runbooks, model cards, governance artifacts, and change decisions.
  • Support training, UAT, and enablement to help business teams adopt AI driven workflows and tools.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience in technology, analytics, or data driven environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Proven experience delivering Data Science or machine learning projects, including coordination of data ingestion, feature engineering, and model deployment.
  • Experience managing SaaS AI product implementations such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Slack AI, Scribe, Veo 3, or similar tools, with a clear focus on change management and user adoption.
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery tools (Jira / Confluence).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of concise, executive ready reporting.

Preferred qualifications

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with statistics, analytics, and Data Science concepts.
  • Experience defining and maintaining KPI dashboards for AI and data initiatives.
