Job description

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite) Introduction This full-time contractor role involves regular collaboration with data collection, annotation, and algorithm development partners. The role serves as the primary point of contact for the scoping, bring-up, and management of multi-discipline data annotation projects within the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications * 5 years in operations, project management, or data analysis, with at least 2 years specifically in data annotation operations.

Proven history of success in leading and managing large scale annotations for multimodal data, including image, video, text, audio, sensor data, metadata, etc. Experience with data labeling platforms. * Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, annotation workflows, and data quality assurance.

Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data querying and scripting. Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, easy-to-understand instructions for non-technical staff. * Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, often with international or remote teams.

Familiarity with budget tracking, cost reporting, or operational financial practices. A Bachelor's degree in engineering related fields. * Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with annotation tool and/or AIML model development. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, develop and optimize annotation workflow and instructions to ensure high-throughput, scalability, and accurate annotation.

Partner with engineering teams to define and align on annotation tool requirements. Establish and enforce rigorous QA/QC processes for annotation accuracy and consistency. * Develop annotation project timeline and ensure the successful delivery of annotations.

Track, facilitate, and direct priorities for several concurrent annotation efforts. Track key performance metrics such as throughput (labels per hour), quality scores, and spend against targets, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. * Develop and implement annotation working guidelines to ensure compliance with the organization's security, privacy, and financial guidelines.

Monitor financial states of purchase orders and budgets to ensure careful spending for uninterrupted service from the vendor. Drive supply, equipment, and software ordering in coordination with stakeholders. * Find, socialize, and implement program improvements in coordination with stakeholders.

Facilitate project clearances, non-disclosure agreements, and Restricted Project Agreements. Ensure vendor compliance with statements of work and service level agreements. Company Benefits & Culture * Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams.
