Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, TN. The Senior Project Manager will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will oversee and direct the Project Manager Team responsible for the Mission Information Services Branches (Business Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Enterprise, Infrastructure, and Instrumentation, Data & Controls) projects/portfolios. To accomplish this task, the Senior Project Manager is required to have a working knowledge of and capability with the following job duties.
Job Duties:
  • Responsible for strategic portfolio/project leadership of multidisciplinary projects including capital improvement, maintenance, overhead, and test projects.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating, and supervising project teams, including hiring, training, making assignments, and professional development. Supervisory duties also include timecard approvals and performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for overseeing portfolio/project budget and resource management to include planning budgets, tracking expenditures, and performing Earned Value Management to meet portfolio/project commitments.
  • Responsible for overseeing portfolio/project risks, issues, and conflict mitigation.
  • Responsible for ensuring portfolio/project deliverables meet cost, environmental, performance, safety, schedule, security, and quality standards in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an active and collaborative relationship with team and stakeholders through effective verbal and written communications. Communication will include providing portfolio/project updates to the government and company senior leadership.
  • Responsible for serving as project manager when required.
  • Responsible for ensuring company policies, procedures, and initiatives are followed. It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet contractual and company requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited university and a minimum of ten (10) years progressive and relevant experience in an engineering or related technical field or a minimum of sixteen (16) years of progressive and relevant experience in lieu of degree. Additional relevant education can be substituted for overall experience.
  • Must possess skills in managing project teams.
  • Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials to access the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, project management, construction management, business administration field from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of information technology, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Knowledge of Project Scheduling disciplines using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion.
  • Ability to anticipate change and to adjust promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
