Fleet is well positioned to bring in-house design, engineering and operational capabilities to collaborate with customers on tailored solutions for campuses of 500MW+. This position is located in Sparks, NV and requires the candidate to be on-site. This employee will need be located full-time within a commutable distance to the project site.
Position Overview
The Construction Scheduler plays a critical role in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects. Reporting to the Director of Construction, this role develops, maintains, and communicates project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and resources.
This position works closely with Construction Managers, Project Controls, General Contractor & Subcontractor, OFCI Vendors, etc. and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project execution and proactive management of schedule risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Maintenance
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for hyperscale data center projects, including civil, structural, architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Behind-the-Meter (BTM), and substation scopes.
  • Integrate schedules across multiple work streams, contractors, and trades to ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Identify critical path activities, dependencies, and constraints to optimize sequencing.
  • Update and maintain schedules in Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.

Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track project progress and performance against schedule baselines.
  • Identify potential delays and schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular schedule reports and dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate changes to all relevant parties.

Risk Management & Analysis
  • Perform schedule impact analyses for proposed changes, design revisions, and scope modifications.
  • Support risk identification and contingency planning to minimize schedule impacts.
  • Provide recommendations to improve schedule performance, resource allocation, and sequencing efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Construction Managers, Project Engineers, and project controls teams to ensure accurate data collection and schedule updates.
  • Communicate schedule impacts, opportunities, and risks to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support contractor coordination to ensure schedule integration and alignment with overall project goals.

Tools & Systems
  • Maintain schedules, updates, and reporting within Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Ensure accurate data collection from project teams and contractors for reliable reporting.
  • Support integration of schedule data into project management platforms such as Procore.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling for large-scale projects
  • 3+ years of experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling complex, multi-discipline projects.
  • 3+ years of experience managing schedules across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and power scopes.
  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data centers or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling, resource leveling, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with Procore, project controls software, or integrated project management systems.
  • Self-starter, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 base + Discretionary Bonus
