Job Description:
The Senior Aviation Military Analyst provides expert support for Army Aviation modernization, force design, capability integration, and enterprise synchronization efforts. This position works closely with Aviation Capability Managers (ACMs) and senior Army leaders to synchronize modernization initiatives, funding strategies, and capability development activities across the Army Aviation Enterprise. The analyst leads working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supports force design assessments, develops strategic recommendations, and produces high-quality analytical products, including white papers, concept papers, operational views, requirements documents, and executive-level briefings.
Job Requirements:
  • Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 15 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
  • Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capability management, combat development, or modernization planning.
  • In-depth understanding of Army Aviation modernization efforts and the integrated scheduling processes used to synchronize capability development across the Army Aviation Enterprise.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Army Aviation force design, including the impacts of personnel and equipment changes on aviation formations.
  • Experience integrating and synchronizing data from multiple organizations to support strategic messaging and decision-making at the senior executive level.
  • Experience planning, facilitating, and executing Working Groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and cross-functional forums.
  • Experience leading aviation studies and/or operational test events involving capability development and technology evaluations.
  • Experience authoring a Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)-approved Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) document.
  • Experience participating in Army Aviation Enterprise Synchronization Model workgroups supporting modernization, integration, and funding strategy development.
  • Working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and its impact on Army Aviation programs.
  • Ability to independently develop graduate-level white papers, concept papers, operational views, requirements documents, and related analytical products with minimal Government revisions.
  • Ability to review and edit complex technical and strategic documents to ensure quality and professional standards.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Must be eligible for TS/SCI security clearance.
