Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in Configuration Data Management
  • Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards

Duties and Tasks:

  • Demonstrate technical competence in the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) disciplines.
  • Lead and participate in the creation of CDM policies and processes.
  • Advocate for CDM processes and tools.
  • Ensure maintenance of product baselines and provide auditability.
  • Create and deliver training on CDM processes.
  • Monitor costs, budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements.
  • Establish work methodologies and gather data for project support.
  • Evaluate and recommend options for project tasks.
  • Provide leadership and participate in audit functions including planning, execution, and required reporting.
  • Participate and lead root cause and corrective action initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and compile project-related data.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical project planning.
  • Participate in proposal efforts.
  • Coordinate changes among engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and program management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong grasp of industry Configuration Management practices and engineering principles.
  • Understanding of engineering drawing practices and standards.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and process design.
  • Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and training.
  • Advanced decision-making and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interaction with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Product Data Management applications.
