Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm specializing in technology solutions. They are seeking a Data Analytics Platform Engineer to help clients organize and analyze data from various sources, contributing to mission-driven projects including fraud detection and cancer research.
Responsibilities:
• help our clients find answers in their data to impact important missions
• build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities
• deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful
• work with and guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers
• manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience with data lake or analytics platforms such as Cloudera, Apache Iceberg or Snowflake
• Experience designing data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment and routing
• Experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering or security platform architecture
• Experience with Windows or Linux administration activities
• Knowledge of architecting detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows or automated response capabilities
• Knowledge of managing and administrating Apache Flink, Hue, Hive or Zepplin
• Knowledge of deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, DoD and IC Cybersecurity frameworks and federal compliance standards
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Experience with stream processing or data brokering platforms such as Cribl, Kafka, Logstash or Fluentd
• Experience with threat detection or anomaly-based behavioral analysis
• Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines in IL5, IL6 or IL7 environments
• Experience with Python or scripting languages for security automation
