Job description

Ignite Digital, has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Legal Internship to work with our Legal/Contracts team in the Charleston, SC area. The Internship will provide diverse opportunities which include hands on experience, real time projects, and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate is both strategic and action-oriented and thrives on being part of a fast-paced and results-driven team. The individual will work closely with the General Counsel, project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. This position is an excellent opportunity for law students to gain practical experience in the legal field while working with experienced team.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis related to government contracting laws and regulations.
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
Participate in internal compliance investigations and audits.
Communicate with internal stakeholders and external counsel as needed.
Attend and participate in team meetings and other department events.

Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a law degree program
Strong research and writing skills
Knowledge of government contracting laws and regulations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work at least 30 hours per week.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
