Job Description
The Analyst, Enterprise Safety Analytics is responsible for leveraging data analytics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence tools to enhance workplace health and safety performance across the organization. This role analyzes safety, incident, inspection, and audit data to identify emerging risks, hazardous trends, and opportunities for proactive intervention. The position ensures the accuracy and integrity of safety-related data, develops and maintains reporting dashboards and analytics solutions, and provides actionable insights to support risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop predictive models to identify high-risk locations, tasks, or behaviors and proactively recommend preventive measures.
  • Establish and maintain data validation processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of safety and incident data across systems.
  • Analyze incident, inspection, and audit data to support risk assessments and prioritize corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety performance through data-driven recommendations and process optimization initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of safety programs, training initiatives, and corrective actions by tracking key performance indicators and outcomes.
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking analyses to compare safety performance against industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Maintain and enhance safety reporting tools, databases, and dashboard solutions to improve accessibility, usability, and reporting efficiency.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support annual safety objectives, workforce planning, and enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
  • Manage, maintain, and analyze data across multiple software platforms and databases to support operational and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor data integrity by reviewing, updating, and validating information within various systems.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to reporting activities and data management processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience
  • Understanding of safety performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading and lagging indicators used to measure organizational safety performance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, trend analysis, and predictive analytics to identify safety risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of database management, data governance, data quality assurance, and integration of data across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reports that communicate safety performance and trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations that support strategic safety initiatives.
  • Knowledge of predictive risk modeling and advanced analytics techniques
