Job Description - Project Manager/Account Manager

Our client is a fast-growing data analytics software re-seller and services provider based in Cary NC.

Job summary
The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of client contact, support and project planning for a growing organization. Project management experience is preferred but not required. Full training on our products and services will be provided. 

The company provides full benefits (medical, dental, vision), disability insurance and the ability to participate in our retirement plan, with company matching contributions. The Project Manager/Account Manager position is a full time, salaried position.

We seek an individual who enjoys the rigors of providing exceptional client support - acting as a customer advocate, balancing client requirements with project deliverables and representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Successful candidates will have the desire to provide exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment while managing numerous accounts and priorities. We pride ourselves on recognizing top performance, integrity, and a winning/growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of client relationships including project deliverables, communications and education.
  • Act as main contact for project status, updates and communication for the internal team.
  • Maintain internal tools used for project management and sales support.  
  • Oversee analyst work for clients and act as liaison to gather requirements and deliver on client expectations.
  • Provide strategic advice and direction to clients as they outline project and plan for future goals and objectives.
  • Assist with company marketing and event coordination as needed.  
  • Learn the features and benefits for all products, training and services sold by company
  • Attend various networking events as needed.
  • Travel to client sites as needed with advance notice (20% of the time).  
  • Assist in the development of company processes and tools use to increase internal efficiency and consistency (i.e. reporting, operational procedures, best practices, etc.).
  • Complete administrative tasks as needed (time tracking, reporting, research, etc.)
