The Specialist, Data Analytics Engineer serves as the technical leader for Master Data Management (MDM) data integration and movement, with accountability for data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, and distribution of master data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Technology Bridge

  • Translate business needs such as KYC, client onboarding, reporting, relationship manager hierarchy, and related business processes into MDM requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define functional requirements and specifications.
  • Serves as the functional lead for Master Party, Account, and Enterprise Reference Data domains, translating business needs into data models, business rules, and processes. Responsible for ensuring data quality, governance compliance, and alignment with client lifecycle, regulatory, and enterprise data management strategies.

Data Quality & Governance Oversight

  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs.
  • Partner with Data Stewards, Data Owners, Architecture, and Data Governance teams.
  • Ensure master data standards, controls, and governance requirements are implemented.

Salary Range:

$137,400 - 240,400 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
