Position: Sr. Manager, Insights & Analytics

Position Overview: Mediassociates is seeking a Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics to lead day-to-day reporting execution and analytics delivery across an assigned portfolio of client accounts. This role works cross-functionally with Account, Planning, and Technology teams, as well as with client marketing and analytics teams and third-party partners, to maximize the value of available data and surface actionable insights.

This role manages client learning objectives by building and refining insights reporting, surfacing trends and optimization opportunities, and recommending new measurement capabilities. The Senior Manager is the point person keeping analytics workstreams running smoothly day to day, managing timelines, reviewing team output, and supporting client, vendor, and internal communications, while mentoring and guiding junior analytics staff.

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics Execution

  • Lead reporting workstreams across assigned accounts, developing and maintaining dashboards and recurring client reports
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities within existing reporting and measurement frameworks
  • Translate data into clear findings and recommendations for internal teams and clients, with minimal oversight
  • Manage reporting timelines and coordinate with offshore analytics partners (e.g., Exafluence) to keep deliverables on schedule

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Manage day-to-day assignments and workload for Managers, Senior Analysts, and Analysts within the workstream
  • Review junior team output for accuracy and quality before it reaches internal or client audiences
  • Mentor junior team members on analytical technique, client communication, and reporting best practices

Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support client calls and internal meetings, presenting reporting results and fielding day-to-day questions
  • Partner with Account and Investment/Activation teams to align reporting output with campaign and business context
  • Escalate strategic shifts, scope changes, or emerging client needs

Process & Quality

  • Execute against the established measurement strategy and reporting cadence
  • Recommend improvements to reporting workflows, templates, and QA processes within the existing framework
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable execution across accounts and workstreams within the assigned portfolio

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing/media analytics, reporting, or insights, including prior experience managing or mentoring junior staff
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and recurring reporting, with knowledge of modern data stack tools such as BigQuery (or a comparable cloud data warehouse), Funnel.io (or a comparable data connector/ETL platform), and Tableau (or a comparable BI/visualization tool)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing timelines across multiple accounts or workstreams, including coordination with offshore or cross-functional partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting reporting results to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Statistics, Business, or similar) preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with media/marketing measurement concepts (e.g., MMM, attribution, incrementality) sufficient to support advanced analytics engagements in partnership with senior analytics team members.
  • Experience in an agency or client-services environment managing multiple accounts concurrently

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
