The Director, Enterprise Finance Data & Analytics will play a critical leadership role in how Finance defines performance, governs key metrics, prioritizes reporting and planning needs and turns data into actionable business insight across Booking Holdings and its brands. Partnering closely with Enterprise Applications, Brand FP&A teams, Finance Centers of Excellence, and Finance leadership, this role will architect and champion a unified finance data strategy to lead the evolution of our finance data platform, establish enterprise-wide KPI governance and drive next-generation forecasting and AI-enabled insights to support decision making capabilities across the organization. Success in this role requires the ability to align stakeholders around common definitions, priorities, and outcomes. The successful candidate will combine deep FP&A expertise with strong business process and data acumen to drive the modernization of Finance's capabilities while advancing management's vision of consistent, actionable, and near real-time insights.
In this role you will get to:
Enterprise Finance Data Strategy
  • Partner with Finance leadership, Enterprise Applications, and Data Engineering teams to shape and execute the enterprise finance data strategy across Booking Holdings and its brands.
  • Enhance and evolve the centralized repository for financial and operational data ("Cross Brand Analytics Platform" (CBAP) " on Snowflake) that supports enterprise reporting, planning, and analytics needs.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for finance data standardization & modernization, executive analytics, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Serve as Finance's primary liaison for enterprise data initiatives, ensuring alignment across data, metrics, reporting, and planning capabilities.

KPI Governance & Business Ownership
  • Establish and govern consistent business definitions for key financial and operational metrics across brands and corporate functions.
  • Align Finance stakeholders on KPI definitions, business rules, reporting hierarchies, and management views needed for planning and performance analysis.
  • Partner with Enterprise Applications to translate Finance definitions and reporting needs into scalable solutions, while maintaining clear functional ownership within Finance and technical ownership within delivery teams.
  • Partner with Risk & Compliance to ensure key performance metrics, reporting processes, and data governance frameworks are disclosure-ready, appropriately controlled, and aligned with enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and maintain a finance semantic layer that enables trusted, self-service reporting and analytics.
  • Drive alignment on KPI definitions, business rules, metric hierarchies, and data lineage.
  • Improve data quality, reconciliation, transparency, and governance across finance data assets while balancing enterprise consistency with brand-specific requirements.

Executive Analytics & Reporting
  • Lead business agenda to develop scalable reporting and analytics capabilities that provide management with timely, consistent, and actionable insights into financial performance, operational trends, and strategic priorities.
  • Enable executive dashboards, management reporting, business reviews, and cross-brand performance analysis through a common data and metrics framework.
  • Promote self-service analytics capabilities that improve access to trusted information and accelerate decision-making.
  • Define the reporting outputs, decision-support needs, and management routines that will help Finance leaders access timely, consistent, and actionable insight.
  • Improve the effectiveness of reporting by focusing on clarity, comparability, and decision usefulness rather than volume of output.

Forecasting Transformation
  • Work with FP&A teams to evolve forecasting and planning processes toward more driver-based, forward-looking decision support.
  • Identify process, data, and reporting improvements that will increase forecast quality, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Define and prioritize business requirements for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and improved forecasting capabilities.
  • Help standardize planning assumptions, review routines, and cross-functional alignment needed to support stronger performance management.

AI & Advanced Analytics
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics across forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
  • Partner with Enterprise Applications and other delivery teams to ensure AI-enabled solutions are grounded in Finance workflows, decision needs, and governance expectations.
  • Support the development of automated variance analysis, predictive performance indicators, natural-language finance insights, and other emerging analytical capabilities.

What you have:
  • 12+ years of experience in FP&A, finance transformation, finance analytics, enterprise performance management (EPM), or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements into scalable data, reporting, analytics, and technology solutions.
  • Experience operating in a complex, multi-business-unit or multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance data models, master data governance, KPI governance, and forecasting and planning processes.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across Finance, Enterprise Applications and executive leadership teams.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing analytics teams.
  • Experience with modern finance, data analytics platforms, and visualization tools including Snowflake, Databricks, OneStream, Tableau and more.
  • Familiarity with planning and forecasting platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, and Fintastic is preferred.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $207,000-$253,000
