Job description

Tremco CPG Inc., a world leader in solving complex roofing and waterproofing problems for commercial, institutional, healthcare and corporate accounts since 1928, currently has an opportunity for a Summer Intern to join our team to assist with Power BI report development.  The Intern will also participate in Tremco's Summer Internship Program along with other fellow Interns.

Job duties/responsibilities:

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis.

  • Develop and implement solutions for data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Build and deliver reports, data visualizations, and data analysis products to management and business users for feedback.

  • Improve and automate existing manual reporting and analysis functions.

  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • College Junior, Senior, or Graduate
  • MIS, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business related field

  • Coursework in / experience with Power BI (required), SQL (preferred but not required), other coding languages (preferred but not required)
