Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems. Our 3D Integration and Imaging Systems department provides world class semiconductor and focal plane array for Electro-Optical Infrared systems in support of production and development products across multiple domains.

We have an opportunity for a Principal Semiconductor Product Engineer.

What You Will Do
  • Translate customer requirements for EOIR systems into viable product solutions that RVS can provide.
  • Address complex problems to improve existing processes and designs through extensive conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation.
  • Utilize research and industry best practices to deliver innovative and unique solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate the testing and performance of semiconductor devices.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal mission partners, external customers, and vendors.
  • Lead a cross functional integrated product team (IPT) team comprised of both technical and non-technical, contributors to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with semiconductor technology and wafer processing.
  • Experience in product and or project/program management.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Knowledge and understanding of any of the following: HgCdTe detectors, III/V semiconductor, detector physics, and/or wafer processing in a cleanroom environment. Ability to understand and analyze data related to semiconductor device test and performance. Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Familiarity and experience with device design, test, and modeling tools such as MATLAB and/or TCAD Simulations Knowledge of Readout Integrated Circuit (ROIC) Design & Operation Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material Control Experience with failure analysis techniques such as 8D and Root Cause & Corrective Action reporting Understanding of Process Yields and Analysis Experience with Bids and Proposals Proficient in Microsoft Project application; Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Experience; PMP Certification Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
