The Business Analytics Coordinator will work closely with the Budget Director to provide guidance to administrators, faculty, staff, and students in fiscal management, unit budget, and financial data analysis. Support college administration and business managers with graduate assistant insurance allocations, and compliance with faculty compensation for recurring and one-time payments. Work collaboratively to develop and implement procedures and champion process improvements that assure adherence to best business practices. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines, state and federal laws.
Job Duties
Responsibility Area: Budget Analysis Duties:
Assist Director of Budget and Fiscal Analysis with budget analysis by extracting financial data from appropriate source systems, reconciling variances and performing in-depth analysis to gauge performance of new projects. Validate data as needed for budget reporting and analytic purposes. Develop analytic templates to assist Academic Units and Colleges with financial projections and project proposals.
Percentage Of Time 30 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Financial Reporting Duties:
Assist unit leaders with budget development and resource management. Provide units with regular financial reporting and assist unit staff with compliance for regular reconciliation of accounts and monitoring of expenses. Provide financial reports at intervals in compliance with external funding requirements. Complete PAFs for unit staff as needed.
Percentage Of Time 30 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Compliance Duties:
Support administration and business managers by providing guidance on completion of PAFs for special circumstances, distribution of graduate assistant insurance, TLC faculty processing of payments and buyouts.

Advise the Director of Academic Financial Planning on the financial management of units, offering process improvement recommendations, development of procedures, and serving as a change management agent. Recommend, coordinate and/or develop on-going training for business managers.
