The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Army Vantage / Palantir Foundry, Advana / Databricks / SQL, and Microsoft Dataverse / A365 backend systems.

This is a hybrid role with the in-person meetings in Camp Murray, WA, with remote work as permitted by contract requirements. This role supports a US Government contract, hence US Citizenship is required, with Federal Tier 1 suitability investigation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines supporting Army mission requirements.
  • Build and integrate backend data transformations, APIs, and relational data models across DoD platforms.
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, linkage, and egress between Army Vantage / Palantir Foundry, Advana / Databricks, SQL environments, and Microsoft Dataverse / A365.
  • Implement and maintain schema linkages, data mappings, and integration interfaces.
  • Enforce RBAC and other applicable security controls within DoD IL5 environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, application developers, and government stakeholders to resolve data integration and performance issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure data solutions comply with applicable DoD security, architecture, and data management standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of comprehensive experience in enterprise data engineering, cloud architecture, and DoD systems integration.
  • Favorable Federal Tier 1 suitability investigation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • Backend data transformation and processing.
    • API pipeline development and integration.
    • Relational database modeling.
    • Data engineering within DoD IL5 environments.
  • Deep, verifiable hands-on experience required in all three technology areas:
    • Army Vantage / Palantir Foundry
    • Advana / Databricks / SQL
    • Microsoft Dataverse / A365 backend
  • Experience must include data egress, schema linkage, and role-based access control (RBAC) enforcement.
  • Ability to document data flows, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible to authorized users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of the Army or other DoD data modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, enterprise data architecture, and mission application integration.
  • Familiarity with DoD data governance, security, and interoperability requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
