Here's the scoop - Summary
We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented Data Analyst, preferably within the pet food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
In this role, you will support end-to-end supply chain operations by providing actionable insights across multiple functions and serve as the centralized resource for supply chain data and KPI governance.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is passionate about using data to enhance operational efficiency and support Champion Petfoods' commitment to delivering high-quality nutrition to pets worldwide.
The Supply Chain Analyst works out of our Corporate office in Edmonton (AB) or Nashville (TN) and works a hybrid schedule with 3 days in-person.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzedata acrosssupply chain to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements
Identify supply chain performance gaps through data analysis, proactively engage with relevant stakeholders to understand root causes, and lead cross-functional efforts to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, data objects, andreports that track key supply chain metrics
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align analytics outputs with business needs
Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Assist in the deployment and continuous improvement of supply chain analytics tools and technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in supply chain analytics or data analysis, preferably within the food or pet food industry.
Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Experience with data visualization platforms(preferably Power BI).
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning or predictive modelingpreferred.
