As part of the Client Services Department, the SEO Specialist plays a key role in the expansion and growth of the division. They work alongside Sales to pitch digital marketing services and data‑driven strategies to existing and prospective clients. They build strong client relationships by providing sound strategic guidance, ensuring excellence in delivery and reporting tangible results. They have a good understanding and hands‑on experience in all areas of search engine optimization (SEO) and are pivotal to the successful planning and execution of international SEO strategies across industries and ranging from B2B to B2C—from short‑term projects to ongoing engagements—always helping them boost their online presence and reach a wider international audience through organic search. The SEO Specialist is strategic and data‑driven, commercially minded and client‑focused. They find it easy to explain SEO concepts and strategy to clients and colleagues. They possess excellent cross‑cultural communication, organization and time‑management skills to successfully manage client stakeholders and internal teams across the US & EMEA, always focusing on quality, performance, profitability and growth. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Strategist and assists with strategic data‑driven account growth, while being responsible for strategy definition, ongoing performance optimization and key performance indicator (KPI)/return on investment (ROI) reporting.

  • Work alongside account management to help grow international SEO/performance services to both existing and prospective clients by contributing to client pitches and strategic proposals.
  • Mentor and aid junior team members in both client services and production departments.
  • Lead research and strategy (audits, competitor analyses, keyword research, content gap analyses) and present findings and recommendations confidently to senior colleagues and clients.
  • Oversee successful execution of multiregional strategies by our global digital production teams, liaising with client HQ, local stakeholders and agency partners if needed.
  • Own performance monitoring and reporting of assigned accounts: work with the digital data analyst to set up performance monitoring dashboards and deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously research and select the best tools and templates to support our SEO offering and incorporate those into existing workflows and processes.
  • Keep up to date on SEO trends, technologies and market leaders, and share this knowledge with colleagues and clients.
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO.
  • Experience client‑side in the retail or travel industries or agency‑side servicing international clients.
  • Confident with coordinating internal teams, competent giving feedback and having difficult conversations with colleagues and clients.
  • Confident making strategic recommendations and competent in client calls, meetings and presentations.
  • Experience auditing websites, performing keyword research and competitor analyses to determine the best strategic approach to improve SEO performance.
  • Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and experience with industry tools such as SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Web Analytics platforms (Google Analytics and/or Omniture).
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
