Job description

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst Intern to support our product and project teams.

As a Business Analyst Intern, you’ll turn business questions into clear requirements and actionable insights. You will work closely with product, engineering, and client teams in Sweden, Finland, and Sri Lanka to gather and analyse requirements, map processes, validate assumptions with data, and support delivery through documentation, dashboards, and testing. This internship is a hands‑on opportunity to learn end‑to‑end product and project workflows in a fast‑moving tech environment.

Responsibilities
  • Elicit and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria).
  • Analyse current processes, create AS‑IS/TO‑BE flows, and identify gaps or optimisation opportunities.
  • Support data analysis: prepare datasets, perform basic SQL/Excel analysis, and build KPI trackers.
  • Prepare wireframes or light prototypes with Figma (nice to have) to clarify solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise backlogs and refine scope; keep requirements traceable.
  • Assist with UAT planning and test case writing; log and track issues to closure.
  • Produce clear documentation: meeting notes, requirement specs, change logs, and release summaries.
  • Contribute to reports and presentations for clients and management.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; detail‑oriented and curious.
  • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL is a plus. Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) is a bonus.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum, JIRA/Notion, or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Interest in technology, product development, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of Swedish is a plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑cultural, fast‑paced environment.
You will learn
  • Real‑world experience across discovery, analysis, delivery, and measurement.
  • Mentorship from experienced product managers, analysts, and engineers.
  • Opportunities to lead mini‑initiatives and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Hybrid flexibility for a healthy balance between remote and office work.
  • Clear growth pathways, skill‑building sessions, and teamwork culture.
  • Internship certificate and strong potential for a full‑time offer upon completion.
