What You Will Do

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to join our AI & Data Defense and Security Segment. The individual will provide data analytics, dashboard development, and general analytical support to a federal client team. This role will support the Data Analytics Branch and contribute to both day-to-day analytical needs and longer-term capability development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical ability, communication skills, and relationship-building to work effectively with client stakeholders and help mature the partnership across the team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support mission and program needs
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Translate stakeholder questions and business needs into practical analytical outputs and reporting solutions
  • Support ad hoc and recurring data calls, reporting requests, and analytical tasks across the team
  • Work as a generalist across a range of analytics efforts, adapting to evolving priorities and client needs
  • Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Analytics Branch and broader team members to support delivery of high-value analytics products
  • Contribute to the growth and maturity of the client relationship through strong customer engagement, responsiveness, and professionalism
  • Support process improvement related to analytics, reporting workflows, and data-driven decision support
What You Will Need

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred Bachelorโ€™s degree THREE (3) or more years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across varied assignments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders

What Would Be Nice To Have

Active CBP BI or reciprocity is strongly preferred Exposure to programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS is welcome, but not required THREE (3) to NINE (9) years of professional experience Strong preference for Federal experience Strong communication skills with the ability for oral and written communication with senior levels of management and the Customer
