About the Role

aFit Staffing is seeking an experienced Analyst/Programmer Specialist to support a State of Indiana government agency in Indianapolis. This role is ideal for a versatile developer who enjoys working across multiple technologies, supporting enterprise integrations, and contributing to the modernization of critical business applications.

The Analyst/Programmer Specialist will play a key role in supporting and enhancing a diverse application portfolio that includes Dynamics 365 solutions, MuleSoft integrations, custom .NET and Java applications, cloud technologies, and enterprise databases.

This position supports enterprise application development, integration, maintenance, and modernization efforts across several mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will work in an agile environment and contribute to the design, implementation, and support of scalable technology solutions.

The role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to embrace emerging technologies and development practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple platforms and technologies while helping promote a collaborative and structured development culture.

What You'll Do Technology Leadership

Support and enhance enterprise applications and integrations across the technology landscape.

  • Support and implement MuleSoft APIs across the organization.
  • Support existing Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Maintain and enhance custom applications developed using .NET, Java, and related technologies.
  • Support ETPL functionality across multiple applications and Dynamics environments.
  • Assist with application architecture, design, and implementation activities.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, patterns, and best practices.
Project Coordination & Execution

Deliver solutions that meet business needs and improve operational effectiveness.

  • Design and implement new systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Enhance and maintain applications within an agile development environment.
  • Support ongoing software releases, enhancements, and production maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to development standards and promote consistent delivery practices.
Data Strategy & Performance

Ensure reliable movement and management of data across enterprise platforms.

  • Support various database technologies utilized throughout agency systems.
  • Maintain, support, and implement Azure WebJobs, MuleSoft, and Talend integrations.
  • Facilitate secure and efficient data transfer between applications and platforms.
