These abilities are crucial for driving data-driven decisions, identifying consumer trends, and supporting strategic growth in a competitive market.

What are some common challenges faced by Data Analysts in the liquor industry, and how can they be addressed?

Data Analysts in the liquor industry often encounter challenges such as integrating diverse data sources from sales, distribution, and marketing, as well as handling seasonal fluctuations in consumer demand. Job description

NRS is the leading POS provider for independent convenience stores, now expanding aggressively into liquor retail. The Liquor Sales Specialist will own a metro territory, driving new account acquisition by selling the NRS POS platform to independent liquor stores. NRS is expanding aggressively into the liquor retail vertical - bringing the same powerful,
cloud-connected POS platform that transformed corner-store operations to independent liquor stores, wine shops, and spirits retailers. This is a quota-carrying, field-based position for a hunter with real connections in the liquor industry. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a newly formed Liquor Division under the direction of our newly appointed VP of Liquor Sales. You will be a pioneer in a fast-moving, high-revenue segment, backed by an established brand and a proven product.

What we offer:
  • Competitive base salary
  • On Target Earnings (OTE) of $85,000 (year one) and up to $100,000 (year two)
  • Participating commission plan
  • Paid Vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • 401K Plan
  • Full benefit package, including but not limited to medical, dental, and life insurance
  • Growth opportunities
  • A dynamic and positive workplace
Responsibilities:
Own a defined metro territory and hit monthly/quarterly new-account targets.
Prospect through your liquor industry network, cold outreach, and distributor partnerships.
Run in-store demos covering inventory management, age-verification compliance, and integrated payments.
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through contract execution and hardware install.
Attend local trade events and association meetings to build NRS presence in the liquor channel.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years B2B field sales, consistently at or above quota.
  • Verifiable network in the liquor industry - distributors, wholesalers, brand reps, and/or storeowners.
  • Experience selling technology (SaaS, POS, payments) and/or alcohol products (beer, wine, spirits) to liquor stores
  • Valid driver; able to travel within the territory daily.
  • Credit Card processing experience.
Preferred:

Familiarity with ABC compliance and age-verification requirements.
Active in WSWA, NABCA, or state liquor trade associations.
Bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is a plus
$45,000 - $50,000 a year
IDT Corporation is a global communications company founded in 1990 and headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. We are industry leaders in prepaid communication and payment services and one of the largest international voice carriers. We are listed on the NYSE, employ over 1800 people across 20 countries, and have over $1.5 billion in revenues.

We are not "another big IT corporation"- we encourage and support in-house entrepreneurs in developing their ideas into business actions.

Our National Retail Solutions brand provides a sales management system and POS equipment to small and medium-sized businesses. With the help of NRS, business owners can address a management problem: the product integrates advertising, data analysis, and payment processing.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
