The Role

As a Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics Intern at FreshDirect, you will collaborate closely with the team to support strategic planning and enhance operational efficiency. You'll analyze performance data, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to initiatives that drive overall business growth.

This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused e-grocery environment, offering valuable exposure to real-world supply chain challenges and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

1. Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze supply chain performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
• Support the team in tracking operational KPIs and metrics to measure process effectiveness.

2. Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in strategic projects aimed at optimizing inventory, logistics, and fulfillment operations.

• Help evaluate potential solutions and make data-driven recommendations for business initiatives.

3. Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Merchandising, and Analytics to support key initiatives.
• Support team members in research, data collection, and project execution.
• Gain hands-on experience and mentorship in supply chain strategy, analytics, and operational decision-making.

What You'll Bring

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

Strong interest in supply chain strategy, analytics, and process optimization.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Power Apps.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Compensation: Expected salary range of ($23.00 to $25.00) per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed during the interview process.
