Job Purpose

The Lead Data Analyst, Data Analysis and Reporting role is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across Capital Project Delivery through advanced analytics, dashboard development, artificial intelligence, and data visualization solutions. 

This position will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex operational, portfolio, resource, and financial data into actionable insights that improve planning, forecasting, and execution of National Grid's capital investment portfolio. 

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and visualizations using Power BI. 
  • Partner with business leaders to translate challenges into data science solutions. 
  • Create automated reporting and self-service analytics capabilities. 
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Support data governance and reporting standards. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or continued education certificated in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or business intelligence required
  • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and analytics tools required
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, and generative AI applications.

$127,000 - $149,000 a year
