The Data Analyst role is critical in converting complex business, customer, and technical data into actionable insights. These insights enhance operational efficiency, inform strategic decision-making, and maximize the potential of the company's platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, using advanced analytics and reporting across an integrated technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex datasets, using advanced analytical techniques to derive insights.
  • Design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to empower customers and internal teams.
  • Analyze customer data (qualitative & quantitative) to uncover trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates.
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders across departments.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and operations to align data projects with business needs.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to improve data quality and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and forecasting techniques to predict construction project timelines and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical methods, data manipulation, and pattern identification.
  • Ability to devise and test hypotheses, identify the right business questions, and implement research plans.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with business teams to align data projects with company goals.
  • Proven ability to engage in independent data analysis that uncovers insights and drives business change.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with Predictive Analytics, including knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with Data Lakes and Cloud Platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology environments.
  • Industry experience in home construction is preferred.
