What you'll do
  • Lead the digital transformation roadmap for the product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.
  • Define and architect future-state business processes, data models, and technology capabilities across the Idea to Retire (ITR) value stream.
  • Drive adoption of industry-leading practices in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Portfolio Management (PPM), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Twins, Virtual Build, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to align strategy, processes, and systems that improve product development efficiency and engineering productivity.
  • Architect and implement integrated solutions leveraging platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, SAP, Dassault, and related enterprise applications.
  • Enable Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) capabilities through scalable product architecture, configuration management, and digital thread strategies.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance decision-making, automation, predictive insights, and speed-to-market.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Quoting, and IT organizations.
  • Drive governance, change management, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Influence the organization's shift toward data-driven product development and systems engineering best practices.

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience driving digital transformation, enterprise architecture, PLM, or engineering systems initiatives in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Deep expertise in product development processes, including NPI, configuration management, BOM management, product data management, and systems engineering.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs across multiple functions.
  • Strong understanding of PLM, CAD, ERP, MES, and engineering application ecosystems.
  • Experience architecting and deploying enterprise platforms such as Teamcenter, NX, SAP, Opcenter, Dassault, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of MBSE, Digital Twin, Digital Thread, AI/ML, and advanced engineering technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive organizational change.
  • Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology and process solutions.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with leading consulting firms or enterprise transformation practices.
  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech, industrial manufacturing, or other complex product-based industries.
  • Hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics applications in engineering or product development.
  • Knowledge of SAP and enterprise integration architectures.
  • Experience defining enterprise digital transformation strategies and technology roadmaps.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
