Job description

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) Engineering Team.
This is encompassing operation, maintenance, and installation of various DAS programs. Support the DAS Engineering Team with advance planning, development, and organization for pre-installation preparation of upcoming components. Identify, document, report, and recommend improvements for unexpected or abnormal conditions to the DAS Engineering Team.
This position is expected to be in office in Philadelphia.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to start.
  • HS + 3 years related experience or AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline with 1 years of related experience
  • Candidate must be comfortable working within electrical equipment, including Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchboards, generators, transformers, and load centers.
  • Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Review and redline schematics, engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Perform terminations, run wiring and install conduit,
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
