About the Role

Joseph J. Danielle, LLC is a heavy civil construction company based in Chester, PA, working on municipal infrastructure, excavation, paving, and site work throughout the region. We're looking for a Heavy Civil Construction Estimator to build accurate, competitive bids on projects involving earthwork, roadways, utilities, and bridges.

This is an on-site position - not remote.

What You'll Do

  • Review project plans, specs, and site conditions to calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs

  • Use estimating software to generate quantity takeoffs and cost reports

What We're Looking For

  • Experience estimating heavy civil or municipal construction projects - we're open to a range, from a few years up to 5+, depending on background
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and building codes
  • Strong math and organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple bids under deadline
  • Proficiency with estimating software such as B2W Estimate, HCSS HeavyBid, or similar (Excel experience required at minimum)
  • Clear written and verbal communication

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay, based on experience
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
