Fred Astaire Dance Studios® is growing! Join our team of professionals in a fun, exciting atmosphere and warm, welcoming community.

We are currently hiring an experienced Front Desk Representative at our Boise studio.

If you love making others smile, helping those around you, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced team environment, you will love working with us! This role is of crucial importance to our students, team members, and studio experience.

This customer service position is the first point of contact for our studio. We are looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to serve as our front desk communications hub, manage student accounts, and assist the team with daily studio operations. This includes: greeting and engaging with students, taking payments, scheduling lessons, handling phone calls and emails, assisting with studio events, etc.

A love of people and building relationships is a MUST since you will interact with students regularly to help build our studio dance community. Meeting and working closely with people from all walks of life will give you a level of personal enrichment rarely experienced in any other environment, and you will have the unique honor to enhance people’s lives every day!

Requirements

This is a full-time, in-person position.
Studio hours are Monday through Friday, 1pm-10pm.
Occasional weekend events required as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist students, guests, and walk-ins
  • Manage inbound phone calls, emails, and new student inquiries
  • Handle lesson scheduling using online booking software
  • Accept and process payments (cash, card, and check) through POS systems
  • Maintain and update student accounts and records
  • Support daily studio operations and team coordination
  • Assist with studio cleanliness, event prep, and front desk organization
  • Assist in capturing media content during studio events, parties, and classes
  • Participate in regular team meetings and studio classes (as needed)
  • Run weekly errands and help with weekend events
  • Track tasks and information using Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
  • Represent the Fred Astaire brand with professionalism & warmth
