The Institute of Music at DePauw University invites applications for a part-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2026. Terminal degree (completed by August 2026) in dance or related field is required. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The Institute of Music specifically seeks candidates to teach courses in dance technique, specifically beginning ballet, beginning jazz dance, and beginning tap dance. Teaching assignment is a maximum of four partial-credit courses per year.
