Job description

Project Manager
Since 1946, Lehman Daman has been a trusted commercial general contractor and construction manager serving Central Ohio and surrounding states. The Project Manager has the ultimate responsibility to manage the success of a construction project for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of all assigned projects, including oversight of subcontractors, superintendents, labor, and contracted consultants.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule while establishing operational priorities to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other key project stakeholders throughout all phases of the project.
  • Proactively identify, address, and resolve delays, emergencies, and project-related issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, building codes, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including proposals, budget plans, and work-in-progress reports.
  • Effectively work with Project Engineers and Superintendents to create a positive, safe, and productive jobsite.

Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of safety best practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management, estimating, and project management.
  • Proficient computer skills, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer and superintendent needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from initial customer contact through completion, including needs assessment, budgeting, negotiation of project terms, subcontract issuance, contract management, and construction oversight.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and "wear multiple hats" in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and clients concurrently.
  • Associate's degree or higher in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
