What You Will Do

Our Armed Security Officers protect the residential and commercial properties of our clients against theft, vandalism, fire, and much more.

The armed security officer position will provide strong security presence and visibility on the site and assist contractors, subcontractors, clients, vendors & visitors with safety, security and customer service. Armed Officers responds to unusual or emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response following established protocol for the site and as dictated by the situation, by the company, and through required training and licensing; maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons as required.

As an armed security officer, you may respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol. Additionally, you will assist in preserving order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises; control access to client site and facility through the admittance process; responsive in all situations; monitors entrances and exits and acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.


Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Armed Guard Experience is required (No Exceptions)
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must have your own vehicle to transport to job site
  • Have your own registered firearm
  • GA Secretary of State registration required
  • All Georgia credentials/All training courses must be up to date
  • Able to Pass background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have own working smartphone

Responsibilities

Our Armed security officers are responsible for observing and patrolling commercial and residential properties to prevent theft & unauthorized access. Armed security officers will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the sites, as well as patrolling and scanning scan points around the site. Armed security officers will have the following duties:

  • Maintain security post or security checkpoint
  • Grant authorized visitors access
  • prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the site
  • Provide directions to visitors and/or the public
  • Maintain detail incident reports
  • Prevent property damage, and if any damage occurs, security officer will document such damage in an incident report and report it immediately to direct supervisor
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and scan points around the site
  • Watch for suspicious activity and/or unsafe conditions and report such
