Job description

Dalco Home Remodeling is looking for a Field Technician

Field Tech Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Field Technician to perform:

- Window and door measures (minimum 5 years experience)

- Able to assess windows and doors for air leakage and services

- Capable of assessing and doing repairs on roofing and siding installations (basic repairs)

- Clean driving background and clean criminal background required

Field Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

- Measure all windows and doors for accuracy and catch potential installation related issues

-Provide on-site inspections on roofs and siding, and enter all data and photos into an iPad software system.

- Evaluate and assess leaks and other issues, and be able to determine the cause and action for repairs.

- If repairs are chargeable, discuss with the customer the cost to make the temporary and/or permanent repairs.

- Ensure that all customer repair work meets company policies and local building code standards.

- Maintain accurate reports and photos of the issues.

- Able to set up ladders and walk on roofs as needed. Cannot be afraid of heights

- Experience using safety equipment and setting up ladders and walk boards as needed.

Field Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

- High school diploma

- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with roofing, siding, carpentry and window measuring

-Strong technical knowledge of how to assess and evaluate damages to roofs, siding and windows

- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication and customer service skills

- Able to work as a team member or independently as needed

- Valid driver's license

- Must pass a background check

Compensation and Benefits

This role starts at $25 an hour and up, depending on experience and knowledge. You are provided a company truck, gas card for fuel and repairs, tools to do your job successfully, along with a team with over 20 plus years working here for help. PTO, Health, Life are available after 90 days. 401K after 1 year. Plus, a company that has year-round work, with a 65% customer referral rate.

Interviews are held Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.
