Pasteurizer | Up to $34.00/Hour | Temp to Hire | Bellevue, WA
Join a Leading Dairy Production Team!
Are you an experienced Pasteurizer or Dairy Processing Operator looking for your next opportunity?
We are hiring dependable, safety focused professionals to join a growing food manufacturing team in Bellevue, WA. This is a 90-day temp to hire opportunity with excellent long-term potential. If hired permanently, employees will be required to join the onsite union.
Pay
  • Up to $34.00/hour with a current Pasteurizer's License
  • Up to $30.00/hour without a Pasteurizer's License

Location - Bellevue, WA 98005
Available Shifts
Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.
Swing Shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Graveyard Shift
  • Sunday through Thursday
  • 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Overtime flexibility is required based on production needs.
What You'll Do
As a Pasteurizer, you will play a critical role in producing safe, high quality dairy products while ensuring production runs efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor dairy processing operations and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Batch and process dairy products according to production schedules
  • Monitor fats, total solids, allergens, and other quality control measurements
  • Operate, sanitize, and clean processing equipment using CIP systems and manual cleaning methods
  • Analyze production and equipment data to improve efficiency and product quality
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and communicate concerns to supervisors and production teams
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain clean work areas while following 5S standards
  • Promote a safety-first culture and comply with all company safety policies
  • Report on food safety or quality concerns immediately
  • Assist with additional production duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to accurately follow recipes, measurements, and production instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
  • Team oriented with a positive work ethic
  • Willingness to follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures

Experience Requirements
Candidates with a Pasteurizer's License
  • Minimum of 6 to 12 months of pasteurization or dairy processing equipment experience

Candidates without a Pasteurizer's License
  • Minimum of 12 months of pasteurization or dairy processing equipment experience

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for most of the workday
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely
  • Work in a production environment while maintaining productivity and safety standards
