Overview

We are seeking a highly driven Dispatch & Logistics Manager to lead and optimize day-to-day dispatch operations while owning critical reporting and analytics for leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient routing, service execution, and operational consistency across multiple branches.

In addition to operational leadership, this position plays a key role in building, analyzing, and presenting performance data to support decision-making at the leadership level. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in dispatch or logistics, proven team leadership experience, and advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Dispatch Leadership

  • Oversee daily dispatch operations, including routing, scheduling, and service execution
  • Monitor route performance, workload distribution, and service completion to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all services, including deliveries, pickups, and additional requests
  • Identify and resolve service disruptions in real time


Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver operational reports for leadership and ownership
  • Utilize advanced Excel to track KPIs, analyze trends, and identify performance gaps
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Support data-driven decision-making across operations


Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and develop dispatch and administrative staff
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Establish clear expectations for communication, accountability, and customer service
  • Address performance concerns and drive continuous improvement


Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Standardize dispatch processes across branches to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including routing records and service logs


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations leadership, field teams, and customer service to align priorities
  • Communicate service updates, route changes, and operational needs effectively
  • Escalate critical issues, including service failures or customer concerns


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or field service operations
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, report creation)
  • Proven experience building reports and presenting insights to leadership
  • Strong understanding of routing, scheduling, and operational workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities
