Job description

Job Title: 2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist

Location: Tulsa, OK

Shift: Second Shift | 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM

Pay:$23–$28 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

Trinity Employment is seeking experienced CNC and Manual Machinists for a second shift opportunity with a well-established manufacturing partner in Tulsa, OK. This role involves setting up and operating CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts from carbon steel. Candidates must be comfortable working independently on second shift and performing edits and adjustments to machine programs as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and run CNC and manual machines to manufacture parts to specification
  • Perform basic G-code edits, step changes, and program adjustments as required
  • Operate equipment including Haas, Flex CNC, Toshiba, Daewoo, Puma CNC machines, as well as Bridgeport and Poreba manual machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and shop travelers
  • Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and tolerance requirements are met
  • Maintain production standards, quality, and safety on the shop floor
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
  • Communicate production issues, tooling needs, and quality concerns to supervision
  • Support overtime and production demands as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of machining experience (CNC and manual)
  • Ability to read and interpret G-code, perform edits, and adjust steps as needed
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and setups
  • Experience machining carbon steel
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift
Physical & Work Environment
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Lifting and moving materials as required
  • Typical machinist shop environment including noise, machinery, and PPE requirements
