Daechang Seat Savannah Corp., a leading automotive company, is seeking a highly qualified Production Supervisor.


Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery in alignment with customer production plans. This role oversees production planning, performance reporting, and productivity improvement while maintaining compliance with company standards and safety policies.

Job Duties:

The Production Supervisor is obliged to:

· Make a detailed production plan for each process based on the customer’s production schedule.

· Prepare and submit the daily production result report.

· Prepare weekly and monthly production result reports for management review.

· Prepare weekly and monthly downtime summary reports, request and receive countermeasures from relevant departments, and manage validity verification.

· Prepare weekly and monthly productivity summary reports.

· Manage monthly and yearly productivity improvement plans, monitoring performance against targets.

· Establish and manage monthly consumable usage plans and performance results.

· Establish and manage a monthly manpower management plan based on the customer’s monthly production plan.

· Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives in process flow, quality, and resource utilization.

· Cooperate closely with the maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production operations.

· Train and develop production team members to enhance technical skills and work performance.

· Maintain accurate production data and reports in accordance with company policy.

· Abide by all local, state, and federal laws, and DSC Savannah policies on safety and environmental protection.

· Maintain confidentiality in all production-related information.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.


Responsible for:

· Meeting production targets and maintaining operational efficiency.

· Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of production reports.

· Leading and training production staff.

· Maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

· Proper handover of duties in case of absence, transfer, or termination.

· Confidential information disclosure.

Requirements:

Education, work experience, skills:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in production supervision or manufacturing management.

· Strong knowledge of production planning, KPI reporting, and process improvement.

· Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing systems (SAP, MES preferred).

· Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Must demonstrate teamwork, responsibility, and initiative.

· Bilingual: Korean and English.


Physical and Work Requirements:

· Must be willing and able to perform the essential functions of the job, including:

· Standing and walking for 10 or more hours per shift.

· Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.

· Working weekends, extended hours, and overtime as required to meet production demands.

· Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships with others.
