Job description

Job Summary:
Procom is a leading provider of professional IT services and staffing to businesses and governments in Canada. They are seeking a CygNet / VBScript Developer with strong skills in CygNet and VB scripting to develop and enhance SCADA scripts for clients in the Oil and Gas sector.
Responsibilities:
• Develop New CygNet SCADA Scripts
• Update/Enhance existing CygNet SCADA Scripts
• Test CygNet SCADA Scripts
• Test .NET Applications/messaging queues for interfacing with CygNet SCADA
• Monitor existing applications and scripts as needed
• Production support of applications and scripts as needed
• Update documentation as required for all new and updated applications and scripts
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in CygNet SCADA development/Cygnet Studio environment
• Minimum of 5 years VBScripting
• Visual Basic, Windows COM, XML, and CygNet SCADA scripting experience
• Basic ability to understand and write SQL
Preferred:
• Advanced SQL or C# programming
• Experience in remote monitoring/controlling systems.
• Experience within pipeline applications.
