Healthcare Client Partner (Revenue Cycle Management - RCM) Level: Associate Director Location: United States Travel: As Required Employment Type: Full-Time About the role:

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Healthcare Client Partner (RCM) to drive strategic growth, strengthen executive-level client relationships, and lead large-scale Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) engagements. This leadership role is responsible for the overall health, growth, profitability, and strategic direction of assigned accounts, with full accountability for account P&L, customer satisfaction, and business expansion.

The ideal candidate will bring deep Healthcare and RCM domain expertise, a strong consulting mindset, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth within IT services, business process services, or management consulting organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end account management, including revenue growth, profitability, account planning, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio with annual revenues in excess of $25M-$35M.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account growth strategies, including demand generation, white-space analysis, and investment planning.
  • Drive expansion opportunities across existing services and new business pursuits.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen executive relationships at the C-suite and senior leadership levels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate business transformation, operational excellence, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, operations, finance, product, and service line leadership teams to execute strategic account plans.
  • Position Cognizant's Healthcare, RCM, GenAI, digital transformation, platform, and consulting capabilities to address client priorities and business outcomes.
  • Lead pipeline development, opportunity qualification, deal shaping, proposal development, and RFP responses.
  • Ensure strong delivery governance, operational excellence, and customer success across all engagements.
  • Drive innovation-led growth by identifying opportunities to leverage GenAI and automation solutions that deliver measurable client ROI.
  • Establish and leverage strategic partnerships and ecosystem alliances to expand client value.
  • Mentor and develop sales, client management, and delivery leaders, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Enhance Cognizant's market visibility and thought leadership within the Healthcare and RCM ecosystem.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in client-facing leadership roles within Healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), IT Services, Business Process Services, or Management Consulting.
  • Demonstrated success managing large strategic accounts with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong experience driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and account expansion.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain executive relationships at CXO and CXO-1 levels.
  • Experience working with global delivery models and leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of Healthcare provider operations and Revenue Cycle Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Healthcare Operations, Business Process Services, and Digital Transformation.
