Job Description:
TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening for an Inventory Specialist I (Cycle Count) - 2nd shift in its Wellford SC location. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package -- tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities
The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and status to Operations management.
Primary Duties:
  • Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and locations daily.
  • Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Compiles verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.
  • Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.
  • Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience or training
  • Experience operating a standup forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.

Physical Demands
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs.
  • Able to work in various temperature conditions.
