Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead organization-wide cybersecurity architecture, strategies, product certifications, and innovation efforts within its Block Storage portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, software development, and a knowledge of industry standards. The incumbent will drive various cybersecurity activities, evaluate emerging technologies, and mentor team members, contributing to HPE's leadership in cybersecurity excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify and implement cybersecurity architecture, strategies, and solutions across Block Storage products.
  • Drive cybersecurity certification and compliance activities and act as an expert consultant during audits.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new cybersecurity technologies, innovations, and partnerships aligned with the technology roadmap and business priorities.
  • Serve as an internal authority by reviewing and influencing cybersecurity designs and project activities for compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a culture of cybersecurity innovation and professional growth.
  • Provide innovative solutions that enhance defense in depth and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity domain expertise and influence executive decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, and software development.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity technologies, standards, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and deploy innovative cybersecurity solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep experience architecting, designing, and implementing cybersecurity solutions and software systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience evaluating and integrating scalable, multi-platform cybersecurity solutions.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and contribute to internal and external cybersecurity communities.

Preferred Qualifications:
