Shape the Future of Aerospace Manufacturing

Chromalloy is seeking a visionary Factory of the Future (FoF) Architect / Program Manager to lead the design and deployment of next-generation manufacturing capabilities across our global aerospace operations.

In this highly visible enterprise role, you will define the roadmap for smarter, safer, and more connected factories by integrating digital technologies, automation, data, and operational excellence. Partnering with Operations, Engineering, IT/OT, Quality, Supply Chain, and site leadership, you will transform manufacturing processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and airworthiness.

This role is ideal for a leader who combines deep manufacturing expertise with strong program management skills and a passion for driving large-scale transformation in regulated aerospace environments.

What You'll DoLead the Factory of the Future Strategy
  • Develop and maintain Chromalloy’s enterprise Factory of the Future roadmap.
  • Define scalable factory architectures, standards, and technology frameworks across multiple sites.
  • Align digital manufacturing initiatives with business goals related to quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and capacity.
Drive Digital Manufacturing & Industry 4.0
  • Lead initiatives involving:
    • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
    • Industrial IoT (IIoT) and edge computing
    • Digital twins and simulation technologies
    • Advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions
    • Smart automation and robotics
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and integrated OT/IT solutions.
Manage Enterprise Transformation Programs
  • Lead a portfolio of high-impact initiatives across aerospace manufacturing operations.
  • Establish governance, stage-gate processes, and execution frameworks.
  • Manage program risk, investment priorities, and value realization.
Champion Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure solutions support:
    • AS9100 and AS9145 requirements
    • FAA and EASA regulatory expectations
    • NADCAP process controls
    • ITAR and cybersecurity requirements
  • Strengthen traceability, configuration management, process capability, and audit readiness.
Partner Across the Business
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, IT/OT, Supply Chain, Planning, and EHS teams.
  • Support site leaders in deploying solutions that are production-safe, sustainable, and operationally owned.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Deliver Measurable Results
  • Define and track KPIs related to:
    • OEE and productivity
    • Quality performance and first-pass yield
    • Lead time and WIP reduction
    • Capacity and rate readiness
    • Cost and operational efficiency
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, operations, engineering, operational excellence, or transformation leadership.
  • 5+ years leading complex digital, automation, or operational improvement programs in regulated environments.
  • Experience implementing Factory of the Future, Industry 4.0, smart factory, or digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems, compliance requirements, and manufacturing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification.
  • Experience supporting aerospace OEM, Tier 1, component, engine, or MRO operations.
  • Familiarity with MES, ERP, eQMS, CMMS, PLC/SCADA, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
