RTX is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal or Legal Compliance Professional to support the Enterprise Services (ES) Legal, Cybersecurity and Privacy Team. This role is ideal for a collaborative, highly motivated and intellectually curious professional eager to work at the intersection of cybersecurity, privacy, law, and technology. The successful candidate may come from a traditional paralegal background or from a cybersecurity/privacy compliance background with a strong focus on legal and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in fast moving and ambiguous environments, and be comfortable with technical terminology and engaging with technical teams and business leaders.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide paralegal- or compliance focused support on cybersecurity and privacy matters, including legal research, documentation, and coordination across technical, legal, and business teams.
  • Support cyber incident legal investigations, including evidence collection, scheduling and participating in interviews, managing privileged communications and document organization, and helping to develop factual summaries and findings.
  • Serve as the first line reviewer for ES agreements and transactions for cyber legal, ensuring appropriate cybersecurity and privacy terms are incorporated, consistent with RTX policy and legal guidance.
  • Assist with privacy compliance activities, including supporting privacy risk assessments, reviewing data handling practices, and drafting or refining related documentation.
  • Manage document collection, tracking, organization, and administrative processes for cybersecurity incident response and other time-sensitive matters.
  • Help shape and develop emerging cyber and privacy workflows, processes, checklists, and templates to support a rapidly evolving practice.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, interview summaries, and presentations for attorneys and senior leaders; translate complex technical and legal issues into clear, organized materials.
  • Conduct research and analysis of statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, regulatory obligations, and technical information with minimal supervision.
  • Support and prepare agreements, instruments, and documents related to cyber and privacy matters.
  • Work closely with cross functional partners across the enterprise to serve as a liaison for cyber legal, collect information, manage tasks and requests for legal support, and ensure timely execution of legal team responsibilities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of the cyber and privacy legal program.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise sound judgment in fast moving, high tempo situations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Background may include paralegal experience, legal compliance management, cybersecurity/privacy compliance, or a combination of these.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools.
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience drafting reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a dynamic and high-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally engage, interview, and collaborate across technical and non technical teams.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detail oriented, self motivated, and comfortable working in evolving and ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to technical language and an interest in learning new technology platforms and cyber‑related processes.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience being a project leader
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory compliance, or incident response activities.
  • Familiarity with privacy or cyber risk assessment processes.
  • Experience conducting first level contract reviews or evaluating vendor/supplier cybersecurity terms.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
