Experience with tools such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, and basic scripting languages, as well as certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Cisco's CyberOps Associate, is highly valuable. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help interns identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with security teams. These skills and qualities are critical for detecting threats, supporting security initiatives, and gaining practical experience in a fast-evolving field.
